Olivier Levallois

Director

Olivier is the founder of Hamerkop Climate Impacts and has been helping project developers, climate funds and corporates navigating and benefiting from the compliance and voluntary carbon markets and climate finance since 2009.

He is one of the few professionals who has been involved in each market segment of the compliance and voluntary carbon markets (from origination, deal structuration, certification, intermediation, project implementation, and sale of carbon assets). He has been involved in more than 150 transactions on the carbon markets.

Olivier has assessed and technically supported 100+ mitigation and adaptation projects and managed numerous complex and large projects such as components of national REDD+ programmes.

He was previously the climate finance services lead at EcoAct UK, a member of the Executive Committee of the International Carbon Reduction and Offset Alliance and of the World LPG Association’s Cooking for Life campaign.

Olivier holds a master’s degrees in management and finance and a MSc in policies and economics of environment and international development from the London School of Economics.
