Maëna Raoux

Consultant - climate change & carbon markets

Maëna holds an MSc in Climate Change, Management, and Finance from Imperial College London, where she developed a comprehensive understanding of climate science, as well as expertise in carbon finance to mobilize capital for achieving global climate objectives. 

Prior to joining HAMERKOP, Maëna worked as a Sustainability Analyst at a leading sustainability ratings agency in Paris. In this role, she gained in-depth experience assessing corporate and supply chain impacts on the environment, society, and human rights. She also holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from McGill University. 

At HAMERKOP, Maëna focuses on helping scale up nature-based projects that prioritize ecological integrity, inclusivity, and fairness. She is also particularly committed to promoting equitable benefit-sharing structures and ensuring project permanence through robust MRV systems, which integrate both carbon and non-carbon metrics. Since joining, Maëna has been actively involved in a range of different assignments including project certification support, pre-investment due-diligence and strategy & policy work on carbon markets.
